Baby Israel's Name
Before finding out Baby Dilly's gender, Jill and Derick Dillard had two
possible names picked out: Israel, which means "God will prevail," and Selah,
which means "pause and reflect." When they found out they were expecting a boy,
they settled on Israel. What is significant about that name?
Back in September 2011, Jill and her family traveled to Israel as part of their World Tour. It was the trip of a lifetime for the Duggars because it made the Bible come to life.
More than two years later and a few months after Jill and Derick began their courtship, Derick stopped in Israel on his way home from Nepal. Knowing how much Jill had enjoyed her trip to Israel, he purchased her engagement ring there

welcome Israel David Dillard
Israel David Dillard was born on April 6th , 2015 11:49 p.m. Monday night Weighing in at 9 lbs., 10 oz , in the people magazine According to the Dillards, mom and baby are both doing well. So this is Jill and Derick's first born , Derick's brother Dan 1st nephew , Derick's mother Cathy 1st grandchild, on Derick's side of the family, for Jill side of the family this is Jim Bob and Michelle's 4th grandchild, jll's siblings 3rd nephew, and jill's grandma Mary's 4th great grandchild, The arrival of Israel will air on TLC on May 5 in advance of Mother's Day stay tuned for that
